Cancellation/Reschedul Policy


Securing an Appointment

All appointments must be secured with a major credit card to reserve an appointment for services.  This requirement also applies to appointments that will be paid with vouchers, gift certificates and any other form of prepayment.  The credit card security is to insure therapist's ability to recover liquidated damages in the event of client's late cancellation or no show.
If this is your first time at The Lindsey Group we will require full payment for your service when we book the appointment for you.
The Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy below applies to your appointment.  If you cancel your prepaid appointment and
request a refund, a $5 administration fee will be deducted from refund.  If you reschedule your appointment (and you let us know at least
25 hours in advance), the full amount you paid will be applied to your newly scheduled appointment.

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
As soon as the “Client” sets an appointment with the “Practitioner”, Practitioner will not book other sessions during this time. In the event that the Client cancels or reschedules the appointment, less than 25 hours before the scheduled appointment time, or fails to attend the appointment on the scheduled date and time, for any reason, the Practitioner shall suffer financial loss. As such, Client agrees that, in the event of cancellation or rescheduling by Client, less than 25 hours before the scheduled appointment time, a $30 cancellation fee shall be paid to the Practitioner as liquidated damages and not as a penalty. If Client cancels or reschedules appointment 3 hours or less prior to appointment time, the Fee shall be no less than 50% and up to 100% of scheduled services rate.

In the unlikely event that the Practitioner is unable to perform the service due to an injury, illness, act of God, act of terrorism, or other cause beyond the control of the Practitioner, the Practitioner will make every effort to secure a replacement. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event and the $30 cancellation fee will not be charged.

Further, in the event credit card or debit card cannot be successfully processed for the Cancellation Fee, the Fee will be attached to the Client's house account.  The Cancellation Fee will be collected at the next service appointment.
